Tamatave – Fenerive – Tanambe – Tanambe – Mananara – Maroantsetra – Masoala – Antananarivo (8 Day)
Day 1 : Tamatave – Fénerive Est
Departure for the adventure on the national road 5 towards the north, stop at Foulpointe Than visit of Fort Foulpointe. Lunch at Foulpointe. Visit the small cultural museum Lampy in Fénerive, visit the city center and the market. Overnight at the hotel oasis.
Day 2 : Fénerive Est – Antanambe
Departure in the early morning at 4am in order to cross the 1st ferry to Soanierana Ivongo. Continuation of journey to the bad track, direct meeting with the local population, during the crossing of the river on the ferry, you can lives an unforgettable adventures; took out the car’s battery to start the tank. Picnic lunch. The village of Antanambe is located in a quiet and sublime place. Visit of the typical village of the East Coast Night at the hotel “chez grondin”
Day 3 : Antanambe – Mananara
After breakfast, continuation of the trip to Mananara, the track is very difficult, clot presence on the track, up and down, cross the small ferry made by wooden or bamboo and sometimes the passengers are lowered and pushed the car together. During the trip we admire the beautiful green landscapes of the east coast of the small villages along the road; the population are smiling and welcoming. Day 4 : Mananara – Maroantsetra
Day 5 : Maroantsetra – Masoala
Transfer by boat to Masoala, the duration of the trip is (1h 30), installation in a lodge. Masoala is the largest national park in Madagascar, magnificent coral reefs that can observe hundreds species of fish. Visit the Masoala National Park and observe the red lemur endemic to Masoala Park, discovering the different species of fauna and flora. Overnight at a Lodge at Arol or Hippocampus Lodge
Day 6 : Masoala – Nosy Manga Be
Excursion to the Nosy Manga Be; Nosy manga Be is in the game of Masoala. It was an island inhabited by Europeans since on 13th century and especially the Dutch frequented this place. Nosy Mangabe. This island served as a stopover during they has done the trading spice at the time. Visit of Betsimisaraka’s tomb. Back to Masoala. Overnight at the lodge at Arol or Hippocampe.
Day 7 : Masoala – Maroantsetra
Return to Maroantsetra, transfer by boat; Visit the city Maroantsetra, walk craft, there are women selling baskets and hats made with raffia; discovery of tomato frogs. Overnight at the seahorse hotel
